Earthquake24 reference

Cookies and Local Storage

Functional browser storage used by Earthquake24 at launch.

Earthquake24 does not intentionally set non-essential first-party cookies in its initial release.

We may use browser localStorage for strictly functional settings such as:

  • Language.
  • Light or dark theme.
  • Reduced-motion preference.
  • Map or list mode.
  • Selected event filters.

These settings stay in your browser and can be removed through the “Reset local settings” control or your browser settings.

Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies under certain security or abuse-prevention conditions. The map provider receives normal network requests for map tiles.

Advertising and non-essential analytics are disabled at launch. If they are activated later, a compliant consent-management platform and permanent Cookie Settings control will be added before the relevant technologies load.

Rejecting non-essential technologies must never block access to reported earthquake or volcano data.
