What the map means
Markers represent approximate source-reported epicentres and event attributes. They do not indicate shaking extent, damage, safe areas, evacuation zones or local conditions.
Data limitations
Reports may be preliminary, delayed, revised, reclassified, incomplete or removed by the source. Their presence or absence does not establish whether a location is safe or hazardous.
