Earthquake24 displays source-reported volcano data. It is not a volcano observatory, civil-protection authority, emergency service or source of preparedness guidance.
What the map means
Markers represent approximate source-reported locations and statuses. They do not indicate ash extent, safe distances, closed areas, evacuation zones or local conditions.
Data limitations
Volcanic hazards can include ash, gases, lava, pyroclastic flows, lahars, landslides and aviation hazards. Earthquake24 does not independently assess local risk or define the scope of an alert.
